Error message

  • Deprecated function: implode(): Passing glue string after array is deprecated. Swap the parameters in drupal_get_feeds() (line 394 of /home2/compatx1/public_html/newhavenzinefest/includes/common.inc).
  • Deprecated function: The each() function is deprecated. This message will be suppressed on further calls in menu_set_active_trail() (line 2405 of /home2/compatx1/public_html/newhavenzinefest/includes/menu.inc).

Participate

The New Haven Zine Fest will be open to all creative, productive people producing zines. If you would like to participate, first read the Rules & Regulations below, then download the Participant Form at the bottom of this page.

Rules & Regulations

  • No discrimination will be tolerated at this event. This includes speciesism. Be respectful to all.
  • Be ready to sell by 9:45am day of the event. Break-down starts at 3:00pm.
  • Food Vendors: NO meat, eggs, seafood, milk, honey, gelatin, rennet, lard, whey, casein, poultry, sugar processed with bone char etc.
  • Food Vendors: You MUST have a temporay food event permit valid in Hamden, CT. For obtaining application go to Quinnipiack Valley Health District (QVHD)
  • Official Sponsors (people donating funds to this year's event): Your advertising material must reflect a 100% plant-based lifestyle.
  • There is NO kitchen available on the premises for use. Cooking equipment and sanitary items must be provided by exhibitor. NO styrofoam cups or plates.
  • Patricipants must agree to make NO claim against New Haven Zine Fest or any of the volunteers at the event. Participants are responsible for any loss, damage, or harm to property or self.
  • Vendor fee will NOT be refunded for any interruptions due to weather or emergency situations. Cancellations prior to event also will NOT be refunded.
  • Zine Exhibitors are allotted shared table space indoors. Zine Exhibitors are responsible for bringing table covers, materials, and anything else you may need for the event. What you are unable to display on the table top may be placed under table for inventory.
  • Participants are responsible for cleaning up and throwing away trash the day of event.
  • Participants will be charged an extra $30 for use of electricity, $10 for a table and $5 for a chair.
  • Participating in New Haven Zine by signing you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to follow rules and regulations you will be prohibited to attend event and receive NO refund.
